DEQ extends vehicle inspection station closures to at least May 31, other inspection options available
Following the decision to close DEQ vehicle inspection stations, the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission adopted an emergency order, Wednesday, March 18, to allow for short-term deferrals of emissions test requirements. The deferrals apply to motor vehicles with registrations expiring between Feb. 15 and April 14, 2020 that have not already been renewed.
DEQ Laboratory releases air toxics monitoring summary
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality released its 2018 Oregon Air Toxics Monitoring Summary for six locations around the state, including The Dalles, La Grande and four sites in the Portland-metro area.
